Fila recently rolled out their Alley Collection for the 2023 Australian Open. The following are the outfits that Barbora Krejcikova, Shelby Rogers, and Karolina Pliskova will wear at Melbourne Park, and I must say, I am impressed!
The Alley Collection pairs the colors of limoncello and FILA Navy, which are perfect for the Aussie Slam. (It’s weird, but the names of each piece are different on the Tennis Warehouse Europe website and in Fila’s press release, and we went with Tennis Warehouse).
The 2021 French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova will sport the FILA Navy/limoncello AO Elisa Tank and the AO Cosima Skirt. The tank has contrasting lines at the front and back chest, and the 13.5-inch skort has a scalloped hem detail. There is also a limoncello/FILA Navy version, also shown below.
Barbora will also wear the FILA Axilus 2 Energized in the purple cactus flower/ white/limelight color combination.
American Shelby Rogers will wear the Alley Solid Dress in limoncello with FILA Navy accents. I really like this piece because it features a slimming princess-cut waistline with elongating vertical lines. The signature F-box logo on the left chest and F-box puller ¼ zip complete the Alley Solid Dress look. Like Barbora, Shelby will wear the Fila Axilus 2 Energized in the purple cactus flower/ white/limelight color combination (pictured above).
Former world No. 1 Karolina Pliskova will showcase the AO Merle Tank paired with the AO Lou Skirt, however, we don’t have any promo images of her modeling them.
Honestly, I think this dynamic duo would look smashing with the Fila Axilus 2 Energized in the purple cactus flower/white/limelight color combination pictured above. The shoes even have a bit of the pattern on the sides… LOVE it!
The collection also includes the Alley Full Coverage Tank and Flirty Skort, as well as the Alley Track Jacket and Track Pants, which allow seamless transition from on-court to off. Unfortunately, there are no pictures available for this set, though we will be posting them as soon as they become available.
Other WTA players, including Ekaterina Alexandrova and Ann Li, have chosen an all-new limelight/navy/red colorway for the Speedserve Energized tennis shoe model.
In my opinion, FILA’s Alley Collection is an absolute HIT! The colors complement each other perfectly, and the lines are a perfect combination of feminine and sporty. FILA also fits to size, so you don’t have to worry about ordering a size up or down.
